I made these yesterday. Spent the morning working on assignments, was able to finish 3 of 4 assignments, which I was pretty happy about. Decided to give my brain a rest for the rest of the day and enjoy the sunshine. It was beautiful weather here yesterday. I love these salad rolls. I usually only make them in the summer time, they are great because you don’t need to turn the oven on and they are refreshing on a hot sunny day. Chocolate Torte with Frangelico, Rasberries and Whipped Cream
Firstly I must say after devouring a piece of this, that this recipe is “to die for”. My kids and I all loved it – a definate keeper for sure…now I only wish I had made two! This recipe is courtesy of Best of Bridge. The only alteration that I made was to substitute Frangelico (a hazelnut liquor) for the Grand Marnier. Personally I don’t care for the chocolate/orange flavour combination, but if you do, by all means use Grand Marnier for this or even Orange Juice if you don’t want to use alcohol. I haven’t posted a recipe in a long while. I apologize to those of you that are waiting for new recipes and enjoy reading. Life has been so busy lately that I haven’t really had the time.
