Sometimes simple is best…I often find that in the kitchen. We had company over this weekend, and I had a package of wings leftover from the weekend that had to be put to use tonight. 2 boys have soccer tonight, so I wanted something quick that the boys could eat before we hit the soccer field tonight.I usually bake my wings (not because I don’t love the fried ones), just because I don’t love the extra calories that come along with frying.
All I did for these was toss about 24 split chicken wings with the following:
– approx. 2 tbsp soy sauce
– about 2-3 tsp montreal steak seasoning
– another tsp (approx) fresh ground pepper
Mix this up really well to coat the chicken on all sides and place in a preheated 425F oven for about 30-40 minutes (flipping half way through) – I have a convection oven so mine were ready in about 30, but if you don’t you probably will have to cook them a little longer. Hmmm I enjoyed these even better than the other wings we made on the weekend.
Serve with veggies and dip for a super easy weeknight meal!
