This Mustard Sauce for Ham is a tried and true recipe that we have used in our family for many years. My Mom used to make it all the time and serve it with Ham with Scalloped Potatoes on the side. It is great the next day too for ham buns.
It’s funny because this is one of the most popular recipes on my blog on google search, even though it was posted back in the early days before I took pretty pictures and recipe cards etc. Please take a minute to have a look at some great new recipes like this Jack & Coke BBQ Sauce or these Mozza Stuffed Meatballs in Marinara with Chimichurri
This recipe is out of a Best of Bridge cookbook, which if you aren’t familiar is a great tried and true recipe series that was created in Canada. If you don’t own a Best of Bridge Cookbook, you really should, I have hundreds of cookbooks and I have to say, they are some of my favorites.
Ingredients:
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 tsp dry mustard
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn it off and let cool before serving. Yep – it’s that easy!
