Pulled Pork
- Place the pork in a slow cooker with the onion and garlic.
- Sprinkle over the smoked paprika and a healthy sprinkle of salt and pepper. Add in the chicken broth.
- Turn the slow cooker on low and cook until fork tender for 6-8 hours.
- Shred and toss in a pan with the BBQ sauce. Let sauce cook and reduce for a few minutes or so with the shredded pork.
- Serve it up on toasted buns with coleslaw, pickled jalepenos, and pickled red onion if you like.
For the BBQ Sauce
- In a saucepan over medium heat put in the oil. Add in the onions and saute until soft.
- Add in the garlic and cook for about a minute.
- Add in the Jack Daniels and let cook for about a minute.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients. Let simmer and reduce for awhile. Taste and add a bit of salt and pepper as needed.
