Dutch Baby with Cinnamon Apples

Batter
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp sugar
Cinnamon Apples
- pinch salt
- 2-3 whole apples, cored, peeled, and sliced
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp butter
- splash water
- 1 tsp sugar
Mix the batter ingredients together well until smooth. Let rest for 20-30 minutes
While you are waiting for your batter to rest. Melt 1 tbsp of butter in a pan. Add in your sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon and a splash of water. Cook over medium heat until tender and browned a little. Turn off and set aside
Melt 3 tbsp of butter in a 12 inch cast iron pan. Pour in your rested batter mixture.
Place the cast iron pan in the oven and set the heat to 375F. Set your timer for 20 minutes exactly.
While you wait, whip some cream if you like.
Remove the Dutch Baby from the oven and serve with apples, maple syrup and whipped cream
